NIA Arrests 5 Terrorists From Srinagar, Jihadi Documents Seized From Searches

Srinagar – NIA arrested five more accused persons namely, Mohammad Haneef Chiralu resident of Srinagar, Owais Dar resident of Pulwama, Arif Farooq Bhat resident of Srinagar, Hafeez resident of Budgam, and Mateen Bhat resident of Shopian.

The case pertains to the hatching of conspiracy for undertaking violent terrorist acts in Jammu and Kashmir and other major cities by scatters of prescribed terrorist organizations. Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen, Al Badar, and their affiliates.

NIA conducted further searches at two locations in Srinagar and seized electronic devices and in discriminating jihadi documents. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the five arrested accused persons are terrorist associates OGW of various prescribed terrorist organizations and have been instrumental in providing logistical support to terrorists and facilitating them in carrying out terror activities.

This is the big update we are tracking on this news article where NIA has conducted more arrests in this particular matter. The terrorist who have been arrested, belong to several organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen, Al Badar, and their affiliates.

NIA search is continuing in the Kashmir Valley. Day two, we have seen that yesterday in multiple locations for Ranger and 4 people has been arrested and with a motive that, the government wants for this, terror-related activities to be stopped in the Kashmir Valley.

Earlier, it was happening that the terrorist was holding guns, they were attacking the security forces and the attacking political figure and other civilians in the Kashmir Valley, but only a few days back. But we have seen that a new trend was started from the terrorist side and it was after the instruction of Pakistan that they have to spread bloodshed in Jammu & Kashmir and that’s why they started targeting minorities.
