Elon Musk meets Tim Cook and says a Misunderstanding with Apple has been Resolved
California, December 02, 2022: Billionaire Elon Musk is back in the news again. In his latest tweet, he said that the misunderstanding over Twitter possibly being removed from Apple’s App Store has now interestingly been resolved.
The tweet comes after Musk had earlier accused Apple of threatening to block Twitter from its app store. Taking to Twitter Elon Musk said that Tim Cook was in fact clear that Apple never considered doing so.
Musk also visited the Apple headquarters where he held as he said a good conversation with CEO Tim Cook. The taking to Twitter in fact shared a video of walking around the headquarters and Twitter’s CEO had hidden out in a series of tweets earlier this week, or the fees and rules at the App Store.
The meeting between Tim and Elon comes after various big firms have stopped paying on Twitter. Apple and Google have issued some strict guidelines over which apps can in fact be on their app store and which cannot include systems to moderate the abuse of content.
But since taking over Twitter, Musk has laid off many employees tasked with fighting disinformation. And now Elon Musk has also tweeted that he is purging Twitter of spam accounts.
Musk has further delayed the relaunch of the Twitter blue subscription tier and this feature was in fact intended for the users to pay for the perks such as the account verification checkmarks.
