Bree Jonson (born in 1991 – died 18 September 2021) was a Filipino Painter and Artist. She went viral on the internet her dead body was found in a hotel in La Union. This incident took place on 18 September 2021.
Many sources claim that she died of suicide by taking an overdose of drugs but as per her family their daughter was killed by Julian Ongpin. They saw CCTV photos of Bree’s hotel after which they concluded that Jonson and Ongpin were fighting before she was found unconscious in her room.

Jonson lost her life on September 18, 2021. As per news reports, she was discovered dead in a hotel in La Union. Her death is either a case of homicide or suicide. Her autopsy reports state that she died of suffocation.
The authorities arrested a guy named Julian Ongpin with 12.6 grams of cocaine who is 29 years old. He was also staying with her in that room. According to my research, he is a male friend of Bree.
Apart from this, Ongpin is not a common man as he is the son of Roberto Ongpin (Filipino billionaire businessman).
Julian is charged for alleged violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act. However, he got released on a bail due to his dad’s status.

After the forensic team tested Bree Jonson’s urine then they found out Bree’s death reason is asphyxia. Apart from this, her autopsy report also stated that her blood was tested cocaine positive.
Many sources claim that she died of cocaine overdose and the others are claiming that she lost life via suicide. Police discovered a mark on her neck and declared it as a case of suicide.
On the other side, Bree’s mother’s ex-husband claimed that it was a case of murder. However, the police didn’t find enough proofs to justify his claims. Well, the investigation is still going on, and Jonson’s family lawyer fighting against the claim that Bree died of suicide.
