New Afghanistan Cricket Chief Azizullah Fazli to Travel India, Pakistan & Bangladesh to discuss Upcoming Series

Kabul – The current debilitating situation in Afghanistan. The newly appointed Taliban head of Afghanistan’s Cricket Board has said that he will go to Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and the UAE to meet the officials over there of the cricket boards of those respective nations.

Azizullah Fazli is going to be meeting officials of India, Bangladesh, and the United Arab Emirates apart from Pakistan. Azizullah Fazli, the newly appointed Afghanistan Cricket Board chairperson has said that he will be visiting Pakistan in a few days to meet with the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

It has been reported that he will be speaking about the three-match ODI series between Afghanistan and Pakistan which was postponed earlier this month. A concerted effort by the Taliban to allow for these cricket tournaments to take place and further bolster their strength in terms of reaching out to these countries of Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, UAE at least to begin with the Central Asian countries and the subcontinent nations to allow for cricket to resume as it used to.

The first step is going to be Pakistan, which is its benevolent nation that has allowed for the Haqqani-backed network to take control of Afghanistan.
