She was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by the Macon County Coroner. Lilly Timmerman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the authorities. No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the crash.

She was born January 30th, 2008 in Kirksville MO to Phillip Timmerman and Patricia O’Hara.

She attended Macon County R-1 High School where she was going into her sophomore year. She enjoyed art class and loved to draw. Lilly also loved music and animals. She had a very bright personality that could light up any room she walked into.

Lilly Timmerman is survived by her parents Phillip Timmerman and Patricia O’Hara; one brother Waylon Timmerman; grandparents Donna Timmerman of Sullivan MO; Carlene O’Hara of LaPlata MO; Emil Phillip Timmerman of Ethel MO; great grandmother Elcie Sullivan of LaPlata MO; uncle Brian O’Hara; cousins Conner O’Hara; Devin O’Hara; Brenden O’Hara; aunts and uncles Toni (Chris) Kentner; Emily (John) Daylor; Mark (Lillett) O’Hara; Matthew (Ariel) O’Hara; Andrew Timmerman of Sullivan MO; Eric (Stephanie) Timmerman; many great aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.

Lilly Timmerman was preceded in death by her grandfather John F. O’Hara; great grandfather Paul Sullivan Jr.; cousin Jenny LaGrand.

Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Friday September 1st at Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Pastor Scott Dalrymple officiating. Visitation will be Friday from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

The family requests that those attending wear bright clothing to match Lilly’s personality.
