Who Was Scott Landry?
Scott Landry was born on December 29, 1960, to George C. Landry and Beverly P. Trosclair. He grew up in Thibodaux, where he attended Thibodaux High School and later Nicholls State University. He married Sherrie Landry in 1985, and they had two children, Brandon and Caroline. He worked as a sales manager for a local car dealership, where he was respected and admired by his colleagues and customers.
He was also an active member of the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, where he served as a lector and a catechist. He was involved in various charitable and civic organizations, such as the Rotary Club, the Knights of Columbus, and the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce. He was passionate about sports, especially football and baseball, and he coached his son’s Little League team for several years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
A Tragic Loss
According to reports, Scott Landry’s passing may have been linked to a car accident that took place on Wednesday, January 10, as reported by PKB News. He was driving on LA-20 near Chackbay when he collided with another vehicle.
He was taken to the Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the next day. The other driver, whose name has not been released, was also injured and taken to the hospital. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Louisiana State Police.
