Kedarnath Temple
Akshay Kumar visited the Kedarnath temple on May 26, 2023, to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. He shared a video of his helicopter ride to the temple and wrote, “Feeling blessed at Kedarnath temple. Om Namah Shivaya.” He also posted a picture of himself posing with the majestic Himalayas in the background and captioned it, “A place which literally has no air pollution, traffic or phone networks. A place where I can just be me…Kedarnath.”
Badrinath Temple
After Kedarnath, Akshay Kumar visited the Badrinath temple on May 28, 2023, to pay his respects to Lord Vishnu. He shared another video of his helicopter ride and wrote, “The good fortune of shooting in devbhoomi Uttarakhand!! On my way to Shri Badrinath dham. Absolutely amazing. No words. Jai Badri vishal.” He also shared a picture of himself wearing a black hoodie and track pants with a rudraksh mala around his neck and chandan tilak on his forehead.
Jageshwar Dham
Akshay Kumar also visited the Jageshwar Dham temple on the same day after seeking blessings at Badrinath. He shared a glimpse of his visit and wrote, “Jageshwar Dham. serene calm and blissful.” He also chanted the Mahamrityunjaya mantra in his caption. The Jageshwar Dham temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is located in a dense forest of deodar trees.
Akshay Kumar was greeted by his fans with folded hands and cheers as he reached the temples. He also interacted with them and obliged them with selfies. The actor was surrounded by heavy security as he visited the holy places.
