What happened in Alaska?

The trip involved hiking, camping, touring Alaska and the Canadian Rockies, ice climbing on a glacier, fishing for salmon, exploring national parks, and more.
On July 17, the group was hiking near Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park. According to camp officials, Simon collapsed during the hike and CPR was provided by staff members and emergency responders. However, he could not be revived and passed away at the scene.
