The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), headed by the Prime Minister, issued an order on October 1 for the appointment of Singh, who is in service till December 2024. Under this order, Thaosen was appointed as the new DG of CRPF. He also took over this responsibility on Monday. Madhya Pradesh cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) officers working as SSB DG with an additional charge of ITBP. He will retire in November 2023.
