This lady hit the media headlines because of her husband. Let me tell you that she was strangled, raped, and murdered by a freelance photographer named Charles Rathbun.

Linda was a famous personality who died on 9 November 1995 at the age of 27 in Monrovia, Los Angeles County, California, USA. Let me tell you that she lived with her three friends in Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles. Linda spoke with her mom, Elaine on a phone call and told that she got many offers from modeling agencies and was also very happy.

Her parents were very supportive and she shared everything with her mother. Linda also told her mother that she said yes to the modeling but she did not know that it was the last phone call with her mother. The next day, she again call her mom and decided to meet on weekend and cut the call.

The next day, her mother never received a phone call from Linda and she does not feel good. So, her mother called her friends but nobody knows where was she. Later, her family members and friends reported a missing complaint and also offered prize money for any information about her. Well, Linda’s disappearance had been featured on many news channels and shows.

Later, a man found some photographs of a blonde girl in the Angeles National Forest. The photographer believed that the girl in the photos was Linda so her went to the police station and gave pictures to the police. Another man, Charles Rathbun also called the police and told that he met Linda in a car at Denny for discussing some modeling projects.

It was a Lexus SUV car and police started to search this car. They found the car and there was a small amount of blood in the back seat. Later, Police find five reels in a desert that was pornographic. Police Officers also find some more clues against the photographer named Charles Rathbun who was the murderer of Linda.

He was found guilty of first-degree murder and sexual assault of Linda Sobek and sentenced to lifetime prison without the possibility of bail.
