Bengaluru – Now high schools and pre University colleges in Karnataka are gearing up to welcome students back on campuses from today after a gap of nearly 18 months. While classes are 9 and 10 will open in schools and University colleges will start conducting classes equal to grades of 11 and 12. Now all institutions are required to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the government has taken extreme care to ensure that classroom learning is carried out safely and preparations have been made accordingly to instill confidence in students and parents with concern to the COVID-19 situation.
Now Meanwhile, ministers, and officials from the education and health departments have urged parents who have been vaccinated yet to register for the same. Now district administrations have been ensuring that all teaching and non-teaching staff have received at least their first COVID vaccination shot before the classes start.
Now what we’re learning is that schools in Haryana, Uttrakhand, Pondicherry, Punjab, Lakshadweep, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland also reopened in the first week of August. Several other states are also planning to reopen their schools and universities.
Karnataka governments announced that the school will be reopening in Karnataka in which the schools will be open only for classes 9 and 10. And what we need to know is a very big development that many of the states have already started their reopening of schools and now Karnataka also started the reopening of School in which they are also clearly mentioned that the COVID protocol which is given by the government will strictly follow. The School will be open to the students of classes 9 and 10.
The teacher needs to get vaccinated on an early basis. At least after one dose of vaccination, the teacher will be allowed to take classes in the school.
If one student gets infected by COVID, then they will be immediately sent to the Primary Health Care Center nearby. Mobile carriers are also being placed in all the schools across them back up to monitor the COVID.
