Plot Summary

The episode will pick up from the cliffhanger of episode seven, where Jamie was shown lying wounded on the battlefield after fighting in the First Battle of Saratoga. Claire will find him and try to save his life, while Young Ian will warn her that another battle is coming soon.

Meanwhile, Roger and Buck will return to Lallybroch in 1981 and tell Brianna that Rob Cameron has kidnapped Jemmy and taken him through the stones. Roger will decide to go after them and rescue his son. The episode will also show William dealing with the aftermath of the battle and his loyalty to the British army. Additionally, Young Ian will get closer to Rachel Hunter, a Quaker woman who is engaged to his cousin Archibald.
