How Kristen Welker rose from White House correspondent to Meet the Press anchor

Kristen Welker is an American television journalist who has been working for NBC News since 2010. She is currently the co-chief White House correspondent and the co-anchor of Weekend Today, the Saturday edition of Today. Career at NBC News

Kristen Welker joined NBC News in 2010 as a correspondent based at the NBC News West Coast Headquarters in Burbank, California. She became an NBC White House correspondent in December 2011, covering the Obama and Trump administrations, as well as the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.
