James Toliver Craig, a Colorado-based Dentist Murdered His Wife By Poisoning Her
As per an arrest warrant affidavit revealed by the police authorities, a Colorado-based dentist is accused of fatally poisoning his wife by adding poison to her protein shakes after ordering them online. In the weeks leading up to her death, the dentist also made a number of suspicious internet searches, one of which was “how to make poison.”
The Aurora Police Department announced that a dentist named James Toliver Craig, 45 was arrested on Sunday and preliminarily charged with first-degree murder of his 43-year-old wife Angela died after being hospitalized for severe headaches and dizziness. According to the affidavit, the investigators claim that James Craig “has shown the planning and intent to end his wife’s life.
As per his phone’s search history, he always searching for ways to kill someone undetected, providing her poisons that align with her hospitalized symptoms, and working on starting a new life” with another woman. Angela kicked the bucket on Walk 18, four days in the wake of being owned up to the medical clinic with tipsiness and queasiness.
On March 6, she became ill for the first time, and she went to the hospital twice before passing away. In shocking charging documents, Craig was having an affair with a Texas orthodontist while his wife was fighting for her life in the hospital. James Toliver Craig flew him to Colorado. The elaborate tales add to his incriminating Google searches for “how to mix poison” prior to his wife’s death.
The authorities also reveal James’ previous poisoning of his wife, which occurred years earlier. On March 6, when she started getting sick, she texted him to say that she felt like she had been “drugged.” Later, her sister told the police that James Toliver Craig had drugged her years earlier in an effort to make her unconscious long enough for him to kill himself without being disturbed.
He texted her incessantly asking her how she was feeling and what was wrong with her for days before she passed away. He said he loved her and expressed concern for her while denying knowing what was causing her illness. According to his wife’s family, he had multiple affairs over the course of their 16-year marriage, ran his dental practice “into the ground,” and gambled away thousands of dollars.
She had tried to leave him several times, but he stopped her every time, they claim. Investigators were told by Angela Craig’s sister that the couple’s marriage was turbulent and that Angela told her that James Craig had drugged his wife before because he planned to kill himself and didn’t want his wife to be able to stop him.
