Kyle Jacobs, Kellie Pickler’s husband, has apparently committed suicide at age 49
February 18, 2023, America: Singer and Songwriter Kellie Pickler’s husband Kyle Jacobs died by apparent suicide at age 49, the Nashville Police Department said in a statement. On Friday, Feb 17, 2023 afternoon, Nashville’s Department of Emergency Communications received a 911 call at 1:21 p.m. from home on Sneed Road, Nashville.
According to the statement from the Police Department, Officers, and Nashville Fire Department personnel responded and located citizen Kyle Jacobs deceased from an alleged self-inflicted gunshot wound in an upstairs bedroom/office. Moreover, the statement includes that his death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.
The Nashville Police Department continued in the statement and reported that Kellie Pickler awoke a short time earlier, did not see her husband, and began looking for him. Pickler’s personal assistant (PA) called the police when she and Pickler were unable to open the door to the upstairs bedroom/office.

Who was Kyle Jacobs?
Kellie Pickler’s husband Kyle Jacobs is known for his music and songwriting. In 2010, Jacobs and Kellie got engaged and they tied the knot the following year. In 2014, she told ABC News about her marriage to Kyle. He was a co-writer on Garth Brooks’ song, titled More Than a Memory, and he was also a co-songwriter on Kimberley Locke’s single titled 8th World Wonder.
He also worked on songs that were recorded by Kelly Clarkson, Tim McGraw, and Scotty McCreery. In Kyle Jacobs’s last Instagram post shared on Thursday, he shared that Lee Brice’s album named Hey World, which he worked on as a producer, became certified platinum.
In that post, he wrote “Platinum?! SWEEET!!! An amazing crew of incredibly talented peeps put this one together… Deeply honored to be a creative part of it,” he wrote in the caption. “Thank you Jesus!!!”
