Tanner Hoang: Missing Texas A&M University Student Found Dead in Austin

Tanner Hoang was a student at A&M University, located in Texas. Reportedly, he went missing on December 16, 2022, in College Station. He was last seen at the same place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at The Trails at Wolf Pen apartment complex.

Tanner was a smart and good human being. His age was around 22 years at the time of death. Well, he was a native of Texas and was about to graduate from A&M University, Texas. He was pursuing mechanical engineering at the University and was found dead on the day of graduation, which was on December 24, 2022.
Where was Tanner Hoang last seen?
As per the poster details, Hoang’s family mentioned that they saw a video of his vehicle west on Highway 21 as if leaving the city of Caldwell. Reportedly, he was seen driving a silver 2009 Lexus. This happened on the 23rd of December. Well, after the search, his car was found near the hiking trail leading to the Pennybacker Bridge in Austin, Texas.

Where was Tanner Hoang found?
The latest reports say that Tanner was found dead in Austin on Saturday, 24 December 2022. His body was found in the Pennybacker Bridge area on Loop 360 during the afternoon. At first, it was not identified but then it was found that its Tanner’s dead body. His death news was announced on social media by the spokesperson of his family.

The news of Tanner’s death has shocked everyone. Well, there are no details on how he died and also the cause of his death. Further, it is found that no foul play is suspected. The investigation is still going on and police are searching into the case.

Tanner Hoang’s Family Statement
Well, it is a very sad phase for Tanner’s family and close ones. As per the sources, his mom and dad mentioned on social media that they were in town to watch him, graduate. When they got the news of his missing, they learned he had fallen short of the requirements to graduate.
The Texas A&M University authority confirmed that he has not attended any part of the ceremonies. Further, his dad revealed that he had texted his son at 8:30 a.m. and the message was marked read before his phone switched off.

As Tanner was in his car, he also used his debit card for payment at the gas station near Caldwell. After that, there were no further movements noted. When police investigated the area they found his abandoned in Austin. Also, his body was also found near the hiking trail leading to the Pennybacker Bridge Overlook at Highway 360 and the Colorado River.
The Hoang family said that they are thankful for the support but deeply saddened by this incident. They lost their 22-year-old son and the reason is not known. They also thanked the community and people, who volunteered their time to help search for him.
