Russian Oil & Gas will be supplied to the Taliban by Putin, Officials are in the final Stages of Negotiations

Moscow – While the Taliban have been isolated in the world order, there is one country that they are inching closer to, and that’s Russia. At the latest, the Taliban officials and Moscow are on the verge of finalizing a trade agreement. According to the authorities, the Taliban will purchase gasoline and benzene from Russia.
The interim spokesperson for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economy, Habiburahman Habib has confirmed that an official delegation chaired by the commerce ministry was in the Russian capital to finalize the contracts for the suppliers of wheat, gas, and oil.
The Taliban delegation is as of now deliberating on how Afghanistan would transfer its funds for Russian supplies, as both Russia and the Taliban-led Afghanistan face economic sanctions from international governments including the United States.

No foreign government has formally recognized the Taliban administration and Afghanistan’s banks have been hampered by the sanctions, which have left most international banks unwilling to carry out transactions with Afghanistan banks.
The negotiations coming as Moscow seeks alternative customers for its energy market amid wide-ranging sanctions on Russia from the US and Europe due to its invasion of Ukraine. Meanwhile, for the Taliban regime, the deal comes as they try to call the diplomatic freeze that followed the armed takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban last year.
